Joseph at Lowes Construction wanted polos and sweatshirts decorated front and back with his logo.
The left breast version was fine in embroidery, but we advised print for the centre back. This is because some designs, when enlarged, become too bulky for some fabrics.
Thinner garments, such as T-shirts and polos are obviously thinner than a sweatshirt or fleece and so large areas of embroidery could give unsatisfactory results, such as puckering, and would feel heavy for the wearer.
This is where printed designs work really well, as they don’t irritate the wearer or pucker the material.
We managed to do a match of the print colours to the thread colours and Joseph was happy with the result.
